On May 4, 2024, Chelsea and Cody celebrated their love in a day full of joy, elegance, and heartfelt moments at the beautiful Birch Hill Estate. Their wedding seamlessly combined romance, charm, and fun, creating an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.
The day began with a private first look down by the tranquil pond. In this intimate moment, away from the excitement of the day, Chelsea and Cody saw each other for the first time as bride and groom. Surrounded by nature and the gentle sound of water, they shared personal vows that spoke of their love, dreams, and promises for the future. It was a moment filled with emotion, setting the tone for the incredible celebration to come.
At 4:30 PM, family and friends gathered in the Conservatory Atrium for a stunning ceremony. Bathed in natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows, the Atrium’s bright, open space and mirrored walls created an ethereal backdrop for the couple’s union. As Chelsea walked down the aisle, the sunlight reflected off the mirrors, illuminating the faces of their loved ones. The ceremony was filled with warmth, joy, and a sense of togetherness as the couple exchanged vows, surrounded by those dearest to them.
The celebration continued with a vibrant cocktail hour at 5:30 PM. Guests were welcomed with sparkling strawberry champagne, complemented by a Birch Hill Bistro Display and a delicious selection of six butlered hors d’oeuvres. Crowd-pleasers included cider bacon-wrapped chicken, mini Maryland crab cakes with chipotle aioli, and roasted corn crème brûlée served on elegant Asian spoons.
At 6:30 PM, Chelsea and Cody made their grand entrance into the Conservatory Ballroom, where their first dance as husband and wife marked the start of an evening to remember. A champagne toast followed, as family and friends raised their glasses to honor the newlyweds.
Dinner featured an array of interactive and flavorful stations, starting with a Make Your Own Salad Bar offering fresh greens, seasonal toppings, and dressings like blue cheese and strawberry poppyseed. Guests enjoyed expertly carved 24-hour smoked beef brisket at the Carving Board Station, along with freshly baked rolls and sweet creamery butter. Two additional stations—an indulgent Mashed Potato Bar and a BBQ Comfort Station—added a touch of comfort and variety to the evening, featuring pulled pork, creamy mac and cheese, and cornbread.
At 8:00 PM, Chelsea and Cody shared emotional parent dances that brought tears and smiles alike. The moment everyone awaited—the cake cutting—followed, featuring a decadent almond cake with raspberry filling from Zachary’s Pastry Shoppe. Dessert continued with a Sweet Treat Station, where guests created their own sundaes with chocolate and vanilla ice cream topped with candies, sprinkles, and warm sauces.
With a premium open bar, unlimited soft drinks, and a full coffee and tea station, the evening was full of laughter, dancing, and heartfelt moments. The stunning Conservatory Ballroom, with its mirrored walls, grand chandelier, and sparkling Edison bulbs, provided the perfect ambiance for a night of celebration that lasted well into the evening.
From their intimate first look by the pond to their radiant ceremony and lively reception, Chelsea and Cody’s wedding was a true reflection of their love: thoughtful, joyful, and unforgettable. It was a day that perfectly captured the essence of their relationship, leaving lasting memories for everyone who shared in their special day.
